Q: How much do the programs cost?

A: Both Spanish programs currently sell for $24.95 (US) each although you can get a discount by ordering both together. Travel Spanish currently sells for $14.95.

Q: Are there grammar explanations in Spanish Whiz?

A: Almost the entire Spanish Whiz Help file is devoted to this. The main screen of StartSpanish consists of step by step grammactical explanations.

Q: Then what's the difference between StartSpanish and Spanish Whiz?

A: StartSpanish is designed for beginners - the vocabulary is relatively simple and the explanations try to include all basic details. StartSpanish has a basic introduction to pronunciation while Spanish Whiz devotes a great deal of time and effort towards listening and pronunciation. StartSpanish is the place to start and Spanish Whiz is the place to expand. The Listening Games in Spanish Whiz also help you to improve your listening and pronunciation while having a bit of fun.

Q: What countries is the Travel Spanish program good for?

A: Care has been taken to choose speakers who don't have a strong regional accent. Their speech style would be understood in any Spanish speaking country.

Q: How long have you been selling these programs?

A: Spanish Whiz was first sold as a DOS program called Spanish Helper beginning in 1994. A complete rewrite with many new features (now called 'Spanish Whiz') was first released in 1999. StartSpanish was released in 2003 and the newest addition, Travel Spanish, in 2007.

Q: Are the programs available in the retail market?
